Charity Bed Push
Shropdoc Staff raised over £1,100 for Macmillan Canser Support during a bed push from the Shropdoc base at RSH to Shropdoc's main offices in Harlescott.
Shropdoc Rated Outstanding by the CQC
The service provided by Shropdoc, which celebrates it's 18th anniversary this year, has received an excellent report from the Care Quality Commission.
The event on 20 June will see the Shropdoc team push a bed, which has been donated by Shrewsbury’s discount furniture store Clearance Factors, along a four mile route from the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital to Shropdoc headquarters in Harlescott. It is the first time that Shropdoc has organised a bed push and staff have enjoyed getting behind the fundraiser.
The Urgent Care Centre at Leighton Hospital, Crewe, has been presented with the Dr Steve Hugh Award in recognition of its work delivering extended primary care in partnership with the accident and emergency department.
